Position Summary: As a growing, vibrant community, Ambleside is currently seeking candidates to apply for a new, Assistant Principal position. Candidates must be faithful followers of Jesus, be in agreement with the Nicene Creed, humbly love learning, possess the authority and resiliency of a leader, and have an intimate knowledge of Charlotte Mason’s philosophy and method of education. Candidates must be willing and eager to live in community by leading with gratitude, making and keeping commitments, being honest and always hospitable. Candidates must also possess at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. A graduate degree is preferred.
Schedule: Ambleside administrators have a full work-week, Monday through Friday, from 7:40 - 4:30, and until 5:00 one afternoon per week for staff meetings. The Assistant Principal will also work extra hours during after-hours school events. The Assistant Principal will work on a 12-month schedule, with scheduled time off during the summer and additional time off during school holidays throughout the year.
