Ways to Give
Our end goal is a child who is useful to the world, is trained to choose rightly, and whose love for many different things brings joy for life. Your support makes that possible.

Believing the child is in the world to lay hold of all that he can of those possessions which endure; that full, happy living, expansion, resourcefulness, power of imitative, serviceableness – in a word, character, for him, depends upon how far he apprehends the relationships proper to him and how many he seizes, we should be gravely uneasy when his education leaves a young person with prejudices and caring for events (in the sporting sense) rather than with interests and pursuits.

Thank you.
Ways to Give
The various opportunities presented as ways to give may not be for everyone. Consult with your tax and financial advisors to understand the applications of any giving solution to your unique situation.
Cash Contributions
Ambleside accepts tax-exempt charitable cash contributions and provides an email and mailed receipt and year-end tax donation statement. In order to fulfill its mission, contributions are currently being sought to support:
- Scholarship funds for students with proven need
- Development of resources
- The hiring of additional staff
- Development of a new High School
Appreciated Stock
Ambleside can benefit from your transfer of long-term appreciated securities including stock, bonds and mutual funds, allowing you to give 20 percent more than if you sold the stock and then made a cash donation — by avoiding capital gains taxes.
The maximum federal capital gains tax rate is 20 percent on long-term holdings.
Employer Matching Gifts
Employer’s matching gift programs are those in which matching gifts are tax-deductible contributions to employee and employer.
Check with your employer today and see if your gift to Ambleside Schools International can be matched. We are delighted to supply all of the documentation needed to confirm your gift for the matching gift programs.
Legacy Gifts
Planned gifts are charitable contributions which can result in tax and financial benefits to you the donor. Learn the ways in which you can make a gift to Ambleside that can help you minimize estate taxes or enable you to pass assets to your heirs at reduced transfer costs.
IRA Distributions
After age 70 ½, leveraging your IRA’s required minimum distribution (RMD) for a charitable gift with a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) is a great way to lower your adjusted gross income (AGI) and a great way to benefit Ambleside Schools International.
Non-Cash Giving
Ambleside is able to accommodate gifts of many types of assets through our relationship with the National Christian Foundation [NCF]. You transfer part or all of your asset before the sale, thereby potentially reducing or eliminating capital gains taxes, and then the asset is liquidated at the right time. The net proceeds go to your Giving Fund, which you can use to send your gift to Ambleside Schools International.
Vehicle Donation
You can donate all vehicles — cars, trucks, vans, recreational vehicles, motorcycles, dirt bikes, tractors, boats and trailers — running or not running.
Through our local partner, we work hard to ensure that the maximum funds are raised from your vehicle donation, so that your contribution makes the most impact for Ambleside. Keep in mind, as an added benefit to you, your contribution may be eligible for a charitable tax deduction.
Prayer
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.” We at Ambleside understand our work to be a participation in the continuing ministry of Jesus. As such, we are dependent upon God to lead, empower and make fruitful this ministry. Our job is to be faithful laborers; His to make fruitful. While the effects of prayer are a mystery, we are confident that prayer accomplishes much. Thus, we are dependent upon the prayers of the Ambleside community. Matters for prayer include:
The wise and effectual work of our staff. We have a dedicated team who give themselves selflessly for a worthy work. There is always more to do than can be done.
Direction, financial provision and added coworkers as we seek continued increase in the resources it provides and the communities it reaches.
Wisdom and discernment for our leadership as we guide the organization.
Annual Report 2022 – 2023
We are delighted to share with you a glance at Ambleside Schools International as we continue to be steadfast in our mission to inspire, train, and equip a global community of member schools and educators to provide and promote a living education as described by Charlotte Mason for the renewal of Christian Education.
